CML Grade 2-3 Meet 1 Results

31 students earned perfect individual scores

All four of our teams earned perfect team scores!

This January, our younger students participated in the CML meet for the first time this year. We have two 2nd grade teams and two 3rd grade teams. This year, we split our students into teams of 20-25 students to give more students a chance to contribute to team scores, even though it makes it more difficult for each team to win against other schools that often enter just one large team. They did a wonderful job!

  • Both of our 2nd grade teams scored perfect scores of 36 points, putting them in 1st place nationally with only two other teams
  • Both of our 3rd grade teams scores perfect scores of 36 points, making them tied for 1st place nationally with only three other teams

Individually, Aadi H, Caleb A, Chelsea H, Daochen L, Dara A, Delilah E-C, Eric X, Ethan L, (Helen F), (Henry T), (Holden B), Isabelle W, Jonah Am, Lucian D, Sawyer M, Victoria Z, Ziqi Z, Abigail S, Adam L, Alexander P, Daxton A, Ethan P, Isaac S, James L-C, Jonathan Y, Julian S, Luke Z, Nathaniel Z, Nicolas V, Silu C, and Walter W earned perfect scores and led their teams! Students in parentheses are only in 1st grade, which is very impressive!

We are so proud of our amazing students!!!

CML Grade 4-5 Meet 3 Results

38 students earned perfect scores!!

All of our teams earned perfect team scores this round!

This year, we split our students into teams of 20-25 students to give more students a chance to contribute to team scores, even though it makes it more difficult for each team to win against other schools that often enter just one large team. All of our teams also compete in the more difficult Pythagorean Division, and they did so well!

There are only eight 4th grade teams nationally that have perfect scores of 108, and three of them are our teams!!

One of our Grade 5 teams earned a perfect 36 points for this meet (106 points overall), and they’re now in 5th place nationally! Our other Grade 5 team has 99 points overall, making them the 4th place in Illinois!

Individually, (Abigail S*), Andy W, Armaan M, Charlie M*, Clark S, Eric Z*, (Ethan P*), Jack V*, James B*, John X*, (Jonah A), (Julian S), Laureen D, (Luke Z), Luoqi D, Natalie F*, Nathan S*, (Nathaniel Z*), (Nicolas V), (Silu C*), Veehaan M*, (Velika V), (Ziqi Z*), Alia A*, Henry X*, Drake R, Aditi G, Dylan F, Adler H, Bella L, Crystal O, Leo R*, Isaac C-O, Leo S, Patrick C, John P, Karter H, and Kirill K earned perfect scores and led their teams! We are so proud of our amazing students!!!
