CML Grade 4-5 Meet 3 Results

38 students earned perfect scores!!

All of our teams earned perfect team scores this round!

This year, we split our students into teams of 20-25 students to give more students a chance to contribute to team scores, even though it makes it more difficult for each team to win against other schools that often enter just one large team. All of our teams also compete in the more difficult Pythagorean Division, and they did so well!

There are only eight 4th grade teams nationally that have perfect scores of 108, and three of them are our teams!!

One of our Grade 5 teams earned a perfect 36 points for this meet (106 points overall), and they’re now in 5th place nationally! Our other Grade 5 team has 99 points overall, making them the 4th place in Illinois!

Individually, (Abigail S*), Andy W, Armaan M, Charlie M*, Clark S, Eric Z*, (Ethan P*), Jack V*, James B*, John X*, (Jonah A), (Julian S), Laureen D, (Luke Z), Luoqi D, Natalie F*, Nathan S*, (Nathaniel Z*), (Nicolas V), (Silu C*), Veehaan M*, (Velika V), (Ziqi Z*), Alia A*, Henry X*, Drake R, Aditi G, Dylan F, Adler H, Bella L, Crystal O, Leo R*, Isaac C-O, Leo S, Patrick C, John P, Karter H, and Kirill K earned perfect scores and led their teams! (Students in parenthesis are in 3rd grade or younger, which is very impressive.)

We’ve had 16 students earn perfect scores in all three of our meets to-date, out of only 73 nationally who have accomplished this feat. They have a shot at being CML National Champion! They’re marked with an * next to their name above.

We are so proud of our amazing students!!!
