Adventures with Mr. Math launched in 2013 with just a few students in Oak Brook, IL. Since then, our program has grown extensively, with students all around the United States and even in Canada, Australia, and India, with a current enrollment of 650 students!
However, with this level of growth we have been experiencing, we have hit capacity in the number of students we can offer classes to. Without efficient parent, teacher, and administrative portals, we have had to limit the number of students we accept this year. And it’s clear that we have the demand…over 1000 students tried out for our program, but we could only accept 650 of them.
We’re hoping to raise $100,000 this year in both personal and corporate donations to help us build the following:
We have attracted the greatest 11 math teachers in the world for our 43 class sections and 60 TA’s.
We need a teacher portal to run reports about their students and to manage classwork and homework online, and also to facilitate staffing changes and updates.
With 650 students, we need a parent portal to help us schedule contests, request session changes, and to help facilitate communication between parents and teachers
We need an administrative portal to manage tryouts, request session changes, and to help facilitate communication between parents and teachers.
Currently, these tasks are all being done by a small handful of people, and it's beginning to his a critical mass
