23 students earn perfect scores; 37 students score 4 out of 5!
This year we fielded three teams in the MOEMS Division E contest: a combined Level 3.5 and Level 4 Team A, Level 3 Team B, and Level 2 Team C. In November, our teams competed in the first meet with great success. Team A earned the perfect score of 50 points, Team B scored 46 points, and Team C scored 44 points.
Individually, students averaged 3.6 out of 5, compared to 2.3 national average! Here are the averages by grade on our team compared with the national averages (the difference is shown in parenthesis):
- Grade 3: 2.8 vs 1.5 (+1.3)
- Grade 4: 3.2 vs 1.9 (+1.3)
- Grade 5: 3.9 vs 2.5 (+1.4)
- Grade 6: 4.0 vs 2.7 (+1.3)
