16 students earn perfect scores; 19 students score 4 out of 5!

This year we fielded two teams in the MOEMS Division M contest: Grade 7-8 Team A and Grade 5-6 Team B. In November, our teams competed in the first meet with great success:

• Team A scored 47 points.
• Team B scored 49 points.

Individually, students averaged 3.3 out of 5, compared to 2.5 national average! Here are the averages by grade on our team compared with the national averages (the difference is shown in parenthesis):

• Grade 5: 3.65 vs 3.05 (+0.60)
• Grade 6: 2.85 vs 2.30 (+0.55)
• Grade 7: 3.75 vs 2.35 (+1.40)
• Grade 8: 3.70 vs 2.85 (+0.85)
