6 students earn perfect scores; 12 students score 4 out of 5!
In January, our teams competed in the third meet of the MOEMS M contest. This meet was very hard with national average of 1.8 out of 5. Our students did very well, averaging 2.85, with the Level 5 averaging 3.5! After the three rounds, Team A stands at 125 points well on track to exceed the Highest Team Achievement Award threshold and earn the best score in the history of our MOEMS-M teams. Team B has 86 points and is tracking towards the Meritorious Team Achievement Award for top 6th grade teams.
Congratulations to Yash G, Catherine Y, Jackson S, Michael A, Harrison Z, and Max Z who earned perfect scores! Also noteworthy are the scores of 4 out of 5 for some of our 6th graders: Nabeel H, Anthony Q, and Eddie Y.
Yash G earned 15 out of 15 in the first 3 meets and has an opportunity to earn the highest MOEMS award – the George Lenchner Medal.
