19 students earn perfect scores; 23 students score 4 out of 5!
This year, we fielded three teams in the MOEMS Division M contest: Grade 7 Team A and Grade 4-6 Teams B and C. In February, our teams competed in the fourth meet with fantastic success:
- Team A scored 43 points (157 points overall)
- Team B scored 48 points (177 points overall)
- Team C scored 43 points (157 points overall)
Individually, students averaged 3.66 out of 5, compared to 2.53 national average! Here are the averages by grade on our team compared with the national averages (the difference is shown in parenthesis):
- Grade <= 6: 3.67 vs 2.20 (+1.47)
- Grade 7: 3.74 vs 2.46 (+1.28)
Congratulations to Arjun W, Drake R, Dylan T, Grady S, Grant L, Gus M, Henry X, (John X*), Joshua K, Leo R, Leo S, Samuel H*, (William W), Atharva N, Brandon K, Jason P, Kevin X, Kieran R, and Tyler H who earned perfect scores! (Students in parentheses are in 5th grade or younger, which is amazing!!). The students with * next to their name have so far earned perfect scores on all four of our MOEMS-M meets. They could possibly earn the highest MOEMS award – The George Lenchner’s Medal.
