4 students earn perfect scores; 13 students score 4 out of 5!
In February, our teams competed in the penultimate meet of the MOEMS M contest. As always, our students did very well. Our Level 5 students averaged 3.6 compared with the national average of 2.1, while our fifth and sixth graders averaged 2.7 compared to the national average of 1.9!
After four meets, Team A stands at 165 points well on track to exceed the Highest Team Achievement Award threshold and earn the best score in the history of our MOEMS-M teams. Team B has 115 points and has a good shot at the Meritorious Team Achievement Award for top 6th grade teams.
Congratulations to Yash G, Nathan L, and Max Z who earned perfect scores! Also noteworthy are the scores of 4 out of 5 for some of our 6th graders: Nabeel H, Atharva N, and Jason P.
Yash G earned 20 out of 20 in the first four meets and has a great opportunity to earn the highest MOEMS award – the George Lenchner Medal.
