In November, our team competed in the first meet of the CML Grade 4 contest. The contest was one of the hardest in the history of CML. There were only a handful of perfect scores nationally and none in Illinois. The average team score was 17 out of 36 points.
Our team earned 27 points and is in the 1st place in Illinois, 2nd in Midwest Region, and 7th nationally!
These results are particularly impressive given that only 12 of our students are fourth graders, while the other seven are in the third grade.
Individually, Anthony Q., Nabeel H., and Yusuf R. scored 5 out of 6 points and are tied for the top result in Illinois!
Congratulations to our team. On to the next meet in December!
