Cole Comfort

Cole Comfort attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL where he earned a BA in Elementary Education along with an endorsement in Middle Grade Mathematics in 2021. During his student teaching in Fall 2020, Cole had the unique opportunity to blend both in-person and virtual learning allowing him the chance to teach and learn in both settings. There are so many possibilities with online learning and Cole is excited to further explore that unknown. Alongside Mr. Math, Cole currently teaches Math and Science at a local private school where he has the opportunity to work with students throughout all grade and ability levels.

Cole first joined the Mr. Math program in 2018 as a TA, and it was the students that inspired Cole to have a deeper passion for tips and tricks that are hidden in what is too often considered the “mundane” world of math. He is so excited to help future students see all that math has to offer from the teacher’s perspective. During the summer of 2021, Cole and his wife moved to Moscow, ID with their Tiny House that they built with the help of their family. They are so excited to live the “Tiny Life” while also learning a thing or two about home improvement along the way! In their new town they love to spend time with friends and family, play board games, picnic, and generally get as much sunshine as possible!
