Our 2024-25 Goal: $50,000
Adventures with Mr. Math started 12 years ago with just 22 students. During this time, we’ve grown at an exceptional rate, and we are so thrilled that we’ve been able to take more and more kids on a wonderful adventure in the world of math, full of discoveries and contest awards.
For the past two years, the parents of our students have donated to help us build a new Student Portal, and version 1 was launched in August 2024. Without the Student Portal, we would not have been able to support the more than 800 students who are in our program this year. Quite frankly, we hit critical mass in our previous system. Part of our mission is to help as many children as we can, and the Student Portal is helping us achieve that goal.
However, we still have much we need to do within the Portal. For instance, demand for tryouts this past summer was our highest ever–by far. We need to build a Tryout Portal to prepare for next year’s tryouts, which (we anticipate) will have an even higher demand than this year. We also need to add necessary functionality into the Teacher/TA Portal so that our teachers can spend less time on administrative tasks and logistics, and more time teaching and supporting their students. We’d also love to add more gamification functionality for our students to provide a fun incentive for our students, especially with regards to the extra credit worksheets.
Our goal is to raise an additional $50,000 to make all of this (and more) happen.
If you’d like to donate to help us meet our goals, please fill out the appropriate form below. You can also mail a check to 305 Midwest Club Parkway, Oak Brook, IL 60523, payable to Adventures with Mr. Math.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are asking for your generous support to make this dream a reality. You can donate personally, through your company, or your employer. Before the end of the year, we will provide every patron with a receipt for tax deduction purposes, and we will include your name, with your permission, in the Portal benefactor directory.
We're so proud of our new portal!
