36 students earn the George Lenchner Medal, and all teams score above the threshold for the Highest Team Achievement Award!
This year we had 15 MOEMS E and 9 MOEMS M teams. All of our teams scored way above the threshold for the Highest Team Achievement Award, which this year stands at 189 for Division E and 176 for Division M! Note that MOEMS-E is a contest for students in Grade 6 and below, so it is rare for younger students to do well, yet even our Grade 2-3 teams scored above 199! Similarly, MOEMS-M is a contest meant for students in Grade 8 and below, yet our Grade 3-5 teams (especially 2-4!) still did exceptionally well.
The charts below reflect the scores of each of our teams, and the red line indicates where the Highest Team Achievement Award threshold is.
A total of 437 of our students won various individual awards:
36 students who had scored perfect 25 points earned the prestigious Dr. George Lenchner medal (only 12 last year!!)
47 students who scored 24+ out of 25 points are listed in the Honor Roll.
129 students who scored in the top 2% overall earned a Gold Pin.
225 students who scored in the next 8% overall earned a Silver Pin.
