2025 Pi Math (PiMC) Results

May 28, 2025
28 Students received an award, and 4 earned Gold for their divisions!

We had a number of students participate in the Pi Math (PiMC) competition this year, and they did amazingly well!

There are three division in this competition: Euler (up to 5th grade), Fermat (Grades 6-8), and Gauss (Grades 9-12). It is also offered both online and in-person, and these are considered separate sections. Students who place in the top 5 in each division receive a Gold award, those who place 6-15 receive a Silver award, those who place 16-30 receive a Bronze award, and some more students in each division earn an Honor Roll mention.

In total, 28 of our students received an award, including 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 9 Bronze award winners. Most of our students are young and participated in the Euler division. Overall, 23 out of 97 national award winners in the Euler division, or 23.7%, came from our program!

The winners are listed below with the national rank in parenthesis. If a division is not listed, a student competed in Euler division.

  • Gold award winners: Alexander B* (1st in both Fermat and Gauss!), Conrad B** (2), and Lucas F (5)
  • Silver award winners: Abram B-M (6), Aiden H (7), Andy L (7), Viyan S (10th in Fermat) and Rohan S (7).
  • Bronze award winners: Arien K (17), Caleb F (18), Evan T*** (21), Ira L (22), Ira P (23), Jasey C (29), Jordan K (28), Suhas K (16), and Townes Y (21).
  • Honor Roll mentions: Azim J (Fermat), Conrad B** (Fermat), Evan T*** (Fermat), Gregory S, Isaac S, Jay Z, Keith B, Mehmet K, Svana K (Fermat), Shyra C, Sofia A, and Vedanth V.

*Note: Alexander B is a 7th grader who competed in both the Fermat and Gauss divisions. He got 1st place in both divisions, which is an amazing feat!

**Note: Conrad B is a 4th grader who participated in both Euler and Fermat divisions. He earned Gold for Euler and Honor Roll mentions for Fermat!

***Note: Evan T is a 5th grader who competed in both Euler and Fermat divisions. He earned Bronze for Euler and Honor Roll mentions for Fermat!

The Emmy Noether Excellence Award recognizes the top 10 girls in each division, excluding those who have received medals or honor roll distinctions. Inspired by the pioneering mathematician Emmy Noether, this award honors outstanding performance and perseverance. We had five students who won this award: Aashi K in Euler, and Alba G, Annabelle L, Bella L, and Velika V in Fermat.

Way to go Adventures with Mr. Math Students!!
