This February, our younger students participated in the CML meet for the second time this year. We have five 2nd grade teams and five 3rd grade teams. This year, we split our students into teams of 20-25 students to give more students a chance to contribute to team scores, even though it makes it more difficult for each team to win against other schools that often enter just one large team. They are divided alphabetically so we would have evenly-leveled teams. They did a wonderful job!
Two of our Grade 2 teams are tied for first, nationally, along with just four other teams!
Here’s the team breakdown:
On our 2nd grade team, Aaron R, Alima N, Anthony M, Armaan R*, Boyu X, Charlotte Y, Danica C*, David W, Diya P, Elvis G, Eric L, Hengsheen W, Isaac Lo, Ishan V, James B, Kavya P, Kian M, Luka G*, Maeve T, Max L, Reyan S, Sam S, Solian B, Townes Y, Usman K, and Yeji L all earned perfect scores and led their teams! Students marked with a * are either in Kindergarten or 1st grade!
Individually, on our 3rd grade team, Aanya B, Aiden H, Ariana C, Arihaan C, Caleb G, Devik R, Jacob L, Jesda H, John H, Krish S, Nysa M, Oorja R, Sen-Da M, Thomas E, Titus M, and Veer K (on a school team) earned perfect scores and led their teams!
We are so proud of our students!
