This February, our younger students participated in the CML meet for the second time this year. We have six 2nd grade teams and seven 3rd grade teams. This year, we split our students into teams of 20-25 students to give more students a chance to contribute to team scores, even though it makes it more difficult for each team to win against other schools that often enter just one large team. They are divided alphabetically so we would have evenly-leveled teams. They did a wonderful job!
Almost ALL of our teams earned perfect scores this round! Here’s the team breakdown:
On our 2nd grade team, Aahil G, Alaura L, Armaan R*, Atlas K*, Bryson W, Eliza P, Giovanni W, Irene C-M*, Jemma H, Julia K, Kai-En M, Kiara R, Liliana R, Niven C-B, Nora K, Sean W, Sumedh A, Toreoluwa A, and Tri N*, all earned perfect scores and led their teams! Students marked with a * are either in Kindergarten or 1st grade!
These students have earned perfect scores on the first two meets: Abdullah F, Aiden W*, Anaya S, Aren S, Danica C*, Eddie H, Eliot C, Eshaan A, Gregory G, Griffin F-G*, Hugh Y, Isabella G, Jax J, Jeremy N, Jiahua C, Liam F, Michael N, Neev K*, Pax C, Pinak V, Ryan S*, Wyatt C, Zoe D*, and Zoey M. What makes this group even more impressive is that there are only 43 students nationwide who have earned perfect scores on both of the first two meets, and 58% of them are Adventures with Mr. Math students!
Individually, on our 3rd grade team, Aadyant A, Aaron R, Alena C, Alima N, Anay P, Andrew J, Boyu X, Charles H, Charlotte Y, Daniel M, Daniel U, Devansh M, Diya P, Elliott Y, Ellis H, Garry T, Grant F, Hannah L, James X, Kai G, Kavya P, Kevin P, Kiaan B, Kian M, Kieran C, Kingston C, Lucas W, Luke H, Nathan W,Nihira Y, Phoenix C, Polina K, Thomas G, Tyler R, Wason L, Yeji L, and Yiming W, earned perfect scores and led their teams!
