Ms. Ana holds a Bachelor's degree from University of Belgrade and a Master's degree from Griffith University in finance. Her teaching experience started in 2014 when she taught mathematics at renowned Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science. After moving to Chicago, Ms. Ana briefly taught mathematics at the Chicago Academy for the Arts before deciding to homeschool her children, with the desire to provide plenty of opportunities for her children to discover math in a playful way. While homeschooling, Ms. Ana also built up her tutoring business, House of Mathematics (her daughter came up with the name, inspired by the fact that everyone in their household loves math and puzzles) whose mission is discovering joy in math from an early age through play and exploration. Most recently, Ms. Ana had a deeply rewarding experience teaching math to 7th grade students at Latin School of Chicago as a long-term substitute teacher. She now works as a Math Specialist at Latin School of Chicago.
Ms. Ana is excited to join the team of enthusiastic teachers at Mr. Math program. She loves and looks forward to working with children who are passionate and competitive about math.
When Ms. Ana is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing board games and dancing.
