Tarun is a junior from The Woodlands, Texas and has been competing in math contests since fifth grade. He earned USAMO Silver Medal (qualifying him for MOP) in 2025 and USAJMO Honors in 2024, and is a 4-time AIME qualifier. He has also attended Canada/USA Mathcamp twice.

More than anything, Tarun enjoys teaching and is determined to fuel others' passion for math. Ever since September 2022, he has had experience with teaching math to talented students. With Rising Stars, he continues his mission to inspire the next generation of great mathematicians. As the Skipper for Rising Stars, Tarun will train new mentors and deal with other logistics pertaining to the program.

In his free time, Tarun enjoys solving cool Olympiad-level problems (especially geometry), solving Rubik's cubes, playing PC games, and hanging out with friends.
