In 2019-2020, our teams finished among the best in Illinois, Midwest Region, and Nationally in a number of contests. Four of our students were Math Kangaroo National Champions; two students were National Champions and seven students were Midwest Regional Champions in the CML contest; eight students earned Gold Pin and 36 students earned Silver Pin in the MOEMS contest; three students made Honor Roll and seven made Achievement Roll in the AMC-8 contest; many students made various other Honor Rolls and earned other individual awards.

Here is the summary of our results for 2019-2020.

CML Team Results

• Grade 2 Team is a National Champion!
• Grade 3 Team is a Midwest Regional Champion and took 5^th place Nationally.
• Grade 4 Pythagorean division Team is a Midwest Regional Champion and took 2^nd place Nationally.
• Grade 4 Euclidean division Team is a Midwest Regional Champion and took 10^th place Nationally.
• Grade 5 Pythagorean division Team is a Midwest Regional Champion and took 2^nd place Nationally.
• Grade 5 Euclidean division Team is a Illinois State Champion and took 10^th place Nationally.

MOEMS Division E (Grades 4-6) Team Results

• Team A (students in Level 3.5+) scored 26 points above the Highest Team Achievement Award threshold.
• Team B (students in Level 3) scored 12 points above the High Team Achievement Award threshold.
• Team C (students in Level 2) scored 18 points above the Meritorious Team Achievement Award threshold for 4^th grade teams.

MOEMS Division M (Grades 6-8) Team Results

• Team A (students in Level 5) scored 7 points above the Highest Team Achievement Award threshold.
• Team B (students in Level 4) scored 6 points above the Meritorious Team Achievement Award threshold for 6^th grade teams.

Math League Team Results

• Grade 4 Team A (students in Level 3+) finished Best in Illinois and took 4^th place Nationally.
• Grade 4 Team B (students in Level 2) finished 2^nd in Illinois and took 6^th place Nationally.
• Grade 4 Team C (young students in Levels 0-1) finished among the top 50 teams nationally.
• Grade 5 Team A (students in Level 3.5-4) finished Best in Illinois and took 4^th place Nationally.
• Grade 5 Team B (students in Level 3) finished among the top 50 teams nationally.
• Algebra 1 Team A (students in Level 5) finished Best in Illinois and took 3^rd place Nationally.
• Algebra 1 Team B (students in Level 4) finished among the top 50 teams nationally.

Individual Results

• Four students are National Champions in Math Kangaroo; 36 students were recognized nationally.
• Two students are National Champions in CML; 7 other students finished as Midwest Regional Champions.
• Two students are State Champions in Illinois Math League contest; 47 students made the Honor Roll.
• Eight students earned Gold Pin and 36 students earned Silver Pin in MOEMS.
• Three students made Honor Roll in AMC-8 contest, seven students made the Achievement Roll among only 48 in Illinois.
• Our students lead their school teams to success in various competitions, including the Latin School contest, Montini contest, IMSA contest, and MathCounts.
